The discount is part of a new/old ACC programme to improve compliance and reduce the ACC burden on businesses that follow good health and safety practice. It is an incentive for businesses to go the extra mile and ensure electrical equipment is tested and tagged, approved safe by the experts like Comply Guy.

To be eligible for the ACC Workplace Safety Discount (WSD):
- Your total annual payroll has to be no more than $550,000 and for no more than 10 full-time employees.
- You or an employee must have completed a training course in Workplace Health & Safety and be responsible for managing Workplace Health & Safety practices and staff training.
- If you can provide evidence of Workplace Health & Safety improvements that have been implemented in your business.
- To be considered for the WSD, you also have to agree on an onsite independent audit by an approved ACC auditor.
